In a bizarre collaboration that challenges conventional expectations, Ubisoft has unveiled an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, offering no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Adventure Disclosed

According to the authorized release, "A mysterious confrontation draws heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original adventure, where hints of forbidden practices and fearsome changes echo through the obscurity." The plot presents a "unusually garbed woman named Ada" who tasks the characters with venturing into the Gemstone Grotto—a key location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her ally from a clandestine cult.

The questline concentrates on "peculiar experiments and a terrifying enemy" and is available to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Settings and Transformations

The trailer highlights the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was formerly where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The trailer finishes with a striking sequence showing a character, likely the captive, transforming into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Unique Prizes and Extra Material

Players who successfully complete the adventure will obtain an special katana in addition to several items hidden throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also features purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
